Once again, thanks for dropping in! My name is Angelina and I started practicing photography in August 2020, but I've had an interest in it since I was 13 years old (I really wanted to shoot for National Geographic). I started out with landscapes when I lived in Flagstaff, AZ and it didn't take me long before animals became my favored subjects, especially horses. Now I've expanded into portraits, engagement sessions, elopements, and I've done a few small weddings. Through and through I've got to say every style of shooting has had it's enjoyable moments for me, but couples hit something in me I never thought I'd experience.
I'm a Chicago native but I've also lived in Iowa, Arizona, Nebraska, Texas, & now Mississippi. What can I say? I enjoyed a somewhat nomadic lifestyle (However AZ & TX were my faves :P). I currently own a cat and two dogs. Me being the animal lover that I am, I've also owned iguanas, parakeets, cockatiels, a ferret, and a pet rat (Yeah, I was THAT kid).
My style of photography is more documentary style because I love getting a great moment as it is. I've also found that I like to throw in an editorial image every now and again for my couples so we can visually see their power together. It simply makes my heart do back flips.
I'm also a newbie wife as my husband and I got married August 31, 2024! Sometimes I still can't believe this man married me! But going through that process definitely gave me insight on what it is to be both vendor and a client. I learned what experience I want to provide to my clients and what I don't want them feeling. So just so you know... I got your back!
A few fun facts:
1. I led a breeding program for various poison dart frogs and other amphibians and reptiles.
2. I love to bake, even though I don't have much of a sweet tooth. My favorites are brownies & muffins. Also, if you love the turtle cookies by tollhouse well then we are a match made in heaven
3. My shoulders can hyper extend. It looks pretty gross, but it's me.
4. Guinea Pigs freak me out. I don't know why and it doesn't make sense but they do.
